CSR signifies a company’s voluntary contribution to sustainable development. As a family business in its fourth generation, sustainability and fair, respectful cooperation are the cornerstones of our business policy.
We maintain long-term, trusting business relationships with our customers and production partners worldwide. We carefully review new producers before deciding to work with them. Our employees at purchasing and quality assurance as well as our agents in the production countries regularly visit the production plants in order to ensure compliance with minimum social standards and environmental requirements. Through targeted projects like the Social Fair 2022 Program, we also help our production partners implement ongoing optimization processes in consideration of social standards and environmental aspects.
Our human resources policy is designed to enhance employee satisfaction and loyalty. This includes personal working time models, e.g. for re-entry following parental leave. We train junior sales staff in wholesale and foreign trade as well as office management and have them fill vacant positions once their training is completed.
We support communication that conserves resources and our offices are largely paperless. Correspondence is archived using an electronic filing system. We do not use disposable tableware or cups at our trade fairs (Munich Fabric Start, Heimtextil Frankfurt).
We consolidate shipments whenever possible, considerably reducing energy consumption and the use of raw materials.
